After some serious measuring, cutting and sanding the wood is smooth!!!! but you wont know what im up to till im finished, but hey thats only another two weeks and then I will reveal all and let you know what it was all for and what it led to.
But heres some pics from the weekend of fun!
Some perspex in primary colours that will be lazer cut at a later date once I get back in to college and can get some allocated time with the lazer.
And the wood I used for this model will be the wood used in production which is beach, its cut at a 30 degree angle and sanded gradually with 120 grain till the marks from the angle cutter are gone and then 180 and 240 to create a nice smooth and soft finish.
